Student Accounts Overview

FERPA

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. The law applies to all schools that receive funds under an applicable program of the U.S. Department of Education.

If you are making payments or are an authorized party on Nelnet, it is strongly recommended that you be listed on FERPA at Anderson University. Even if you are an authorized party on Nelnet, the student accounts team will not be able to discuss anything regarding your student with you if you aren’t on FERPA.
