AU Names Jimmie Lake Director of MBA Program

Anderson, Ind. — Anderson University’s Falls School of Business has named Jimmie Lake as the new director of the Master of Business Administration program. Lake has previously served at AU as an adjunct professor.
As the director of the MBA, Lake will provide leadership to four programs and 15 faculty. He is tasked with MBA program development that includes the Residential MBA, 3+1 BA/MBA, Accelerated MBA Online, and the Professional MBA program.
“I am grateful to be selected as the new Falls School of Business MBA director,” said Lake. “This opportunity confirms God’s plan for my new vocation and calling. I am looking forward to leveraging my academic journey and industry experience in this role. In addition, I look forward to collaborating with FSB faculty and staff, as well as key AU departments, to aid in establishing the AU FSB as a premier Christian business MBA school.”
Lake previously served as the regional manager of practice operations at Ascension Medical Group in Indianapolis, Indiana. In his role, Lake led 40 direct reports, including four site supervisors. He utilized dyad methodology and worked with providers to develop growth strategies and business plans, which generated an additional $1.4 million and exceeded Ascension’s revenue goal by 200 percent.

Lake also made stops at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, TriMedX, along with his work as an adjunct professor at AU since 2017. He is an online MBA program committee member at Anderson University and serves as an advisory board member for Purdue University Global’s School of Business and Information Technology on the accounting/finance committee.
