Anderson, Ind. — Anderson University and the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance are set to open Nunsense at the Boze Lyric Theatre Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. Additional shows will be held Nov. 17 at 7:30, Nov. 18 at 2:30 and 7:30, and Nov. 19 at 2:30.

Guests can spend an evening with the Little Sisters of Hoboken (or what’s left of them) as they put on a fundraiser to bury the last four of 52 sisters who were the unfortunate victims of botulism-infested vichyssoise. Taking place on the set of an eighth-grade production of Grease, this riotous romp features showstoppers, tap, and ballet, and some hilarious surprises. With more than  5,000 productions worldwide, this zany and much-loved revue will leave guests aching from laughter.

“It’s truly a joy to work with such talented and passionate artists here in the musical theatre and theatre department at Anderson University,” said Jason James, director of musical theatre and theatre. “Our productions typically rehearse for about five weeks, Monday through Saturday. To be able to witness our student’s progress each week as artists, actors, and humans, is such a joy and thrill for me to watch.”

Tickets can be purchased online and all shows will be held at Byrum Hall on the campus of Anderson University.
