Anderson, Ind. — Anderson University, in conjunction with Indiana University, Madison County Chamber of Commerce, and the Rotary Club of Anderson, will host Futurecast: 2024 Business Outlook Nov. 14 at the Anderson Country Club from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“Anderson Futurecast 2024 offers an invaluable look at key economic trends affecting Madison County, the state, and the nation,” said Dr. Lonnie Leeper, dean of the College of Business, Engineering, Science, and Technology.  “This pivotal gathering is an ideal platform for community and business leaders to learn about recent progress in Anderson and Madison County. Participants will acquire actionable insights and practical foresight into the economic opportunities and hurdles anticipated in the coming year.”

Leeper will serve as a featured speaker at the luncheon. The Kelley School of Business and its partners have presented its national, state, and local forecasts in cities across Indiana each year since 1972. Data housed at the Indiana Business Research Center has been instrumental in generating the forecasts. The forecasts and commentary contextualize economic risk and uncertainty, and help Hoosier communities and businesses plan for the next year.

Panelists provide insights into key economic indicators such as GDP growth, inflation, interest rates, employment, and industry trends. Panelists evaluate the overall business environment and consider the factors that may shape the economy and financial markets over the next year.

Those wishing to attend can register online. Registration is $15 for non-Rotarians.
