Anderson, Ind. — Anderson University Associate Professor of Biblical Studies Dr. Kimberly Majeski is set to speak at the Church of God North American Convention in Denver, Colorado, on Monday, June 28.

Majeski is an ordained pastor in the Church of God and her work is featured on the History Channel, A&E, and in many books, articles, and publications. Majeski is also the founder of Stripped Love, a nonprofit serving survivors of domestic sex trafficking and she also launched the Preacher Girl School in 2019, a dynamic online preaching community and academy for women by women.

“I am humbled and prayerful as I walk into this opportunity and I ask for the prayers of my Church of God family that God will give me words to speak God’s own message as we gather for the convention,” said Majeski.

In addition to Majeski’s speaking role, several AU faculty and staff will be in attendance including Dean of the School of Theology and Christian Ministries, Nathan Willowby, President John S. Pistole, Dr. Jason Varner, as well as Director of Admission Sarah Rowe, and Vice President for Enrollment, Marketing and Communication Heather A. Kim.

“It’s with excitement and anticipation that I look forward to participating, with several AU colleagues, in the bi-annual Church of God International Convention,” said Pistole. “The convention, which used to be held here on campus every June, is a great opportunity to renew old friendships and share innovative ideas and projects with pastors, teachers, and missionaries from around the world.”

AU will also be hosting an alumni reception and book signing for the recent President John S. Pistole biography “Searching for Integrity and Faith” written by Barry Callen. The event will be held Monday, June 28 from 8:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
