Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration

Alumni Dedication to MLK by Deven Bridges BA ’17; Dominic Martin BA ’18; Robert Weatherly BA ’16, MBA ’17

MLK Day

Each year, on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, AU suspends classes so that all students, faculty, staff, and the greater Anderson community are able to come together to celebrate the life and legacy of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We use this time to renew our commitment to the ongoing work of social justice and racial equity. Our annual celebration kicks off with a Peace & Justice March and is followed by community events and participation in service projects around the city.
