Antha Childes, 74, of Anderson, passed away June 26, 2024, at Community Hospital, Anderson, Indiana. She was born on August 17, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas to Dell Merriman and Mildred “LaVerne” (Seiner) Merriman. Antha graduated with a master’s degree from Anderson College and Ball State University. She retired from First Merchants Banks Loan Department. Antha enjoyed entertaining friends and decorating houses. She was a board member of the St. Vincent’s Victoria Guild.
Antha is survived by her husband, Brad Childes; Brady (Claudine) Reece; and nephews, Chad & Don Merriman. She was preceded in death by her parents; Son, Nic Childes; and brother, Glen Merriman.
