Anderson, Ind. — A pair of Anderson University library staff were recently recognized by the Private Academic Library Network of Indiana (PALNI) during its biennial All-Staff Meeting. Nicholas Stanton-Roark was named to the PALNI Hall of Fame and Graeme States earned the Outstanding Service Award.
“Nic has been a great leader for the AU Archives for many years, and his leadership and mentoring of archives workers at other institutions is well deserving of this Hall of Fame induction,” said James Bell, director of libraries. “Graeme has been at AU for only a year, and in that time he has really contributed a lot to training and planning for information literacy activities across the consortium. We are really proud to have Nic and Graeme at AU.”
Stanton-Roark serves as the university archivist and was named to the PALNI Hall of Fame. The award recognizes long-standing service or broad investment in advancing PALNI as a whole or a major impact on a PALNI initiative over multiple years. The Hall of Fame award is given to those who have helped create the collaborative environment, strategic direction, and success PALNI has achieved, and embody the PALNI culture of respect and innovation.
States serves as a learning and outreach librarian and was awarded the Outstanding Service Award. The award is presented to individuals who have significantly advanced projects within PALNI throughout the year. It acknowledges the pivotal role of the recipient in driving key initiatives forward, recognizing their unique contributions that have filled essential gaps in collaborative projects.
