AU Engineering Celebrates End-of-Year Awards

Anderson, Ind. — Anderson University and the School of Science and Engineering recently celebrated its engineering majors during the annual year-end awards ceremony.

Senior students were honored and inducted into the Order of the Engineer in which engineering students take on the “Obligation of the Engineer” and receive an engineering ring.

The Order of the Engineer was initiated in the United States to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer.
