Students transferring into cybersecurity within the College of Arts & Sciences at AU will have the advantage of:

• AU’s cybersecurity degree program is designed to meet the curricular learning outcomes for a validated program of study described by the National Security Agency (NSA)
• Hands-on experience in the Cybersecurity Engineering Lab established through the support of Ascension Technologies, Integration Partners, Extreme Networks, and Dell EMC.
• The National Security Studies Fellows connects students through fireside chats to security professionals with current or recent experience in national security. 

Students transferring into elementary education within the College of Professional Studies at AU will have the advantage of:

• Getting ready to teach kindergarten through grade 6 and impact future generations through a program designed to prepare you for success as a rewarding elementary educator.
• Participating in valuable classroom observations and complete a full semester of student teaching, along with opportunities for experiential learning through volunteering, to gain hands-on teaching experience.
