Anderson University is excited to host the AU Scholar’s Fair for prospective high school students. This is an opportunity for high school students to present samples of their academic work and compete for recognition and scholarships.
Picking your Scholar’s Fair project
Step 1: Choose a presentation or a poster project
- Presentations
- Must be submitted as a PowerPoint file
- It should include approximately 11 slides
- You will have a 10 minute maximum time limit for your presentation
- Ideally, you will take 8-9 minutes for your presentation and respond to questions for 1-2 minutes
- Posters
- Use a standard tri-fold poster to present your information
- Stand by your poster and answer questions
Step 2: Choose a scientific or persuasive approach
- Scientific: Share your findings on a topic of interest to you that can be approached from a scientific perspective.
- Persuasive: The purpose of your presentation is to argue for your proposed solution to a problem
