William Smith McDonald, Sr. of Moore, Oklahoma passed away on May 9, 2020. He was born January 18, 1937 in Leitchfield, Kentucky to William Augustus and Jennie Veneda McDonald. On August 16, 1958, he was married to Patricia Arlene Cook in Ashland, Kansas and they had two children, William Smith McDonald Jr. and Robert Alan McDonald. From 1962 until his retirement, he taught at Gulf-Coast Bible College, now named Mid-America Christian University. William loved to teach and had a great sense of humor which endeared him with his students. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patricia, and his second wife, Margret. He was survived by his younger brother Micheal and his family, and his two sons and their families. He was a grandfather of six and a great-grandfather of five.
