Alana Marie Lashaway

Alana Lashaway, age 38, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024. She was born April 17, 1986 to Justin and Kris (Brown) Lashaway. She graduated from Maranatha Christian High School in Tallahassee, Florida in 2004 and then continued her education at Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana and received her bachelor’s degree. Alana then attended Anderson University and received her master’s degree.

She worked for Huber Auction Group LLC as an office worker for several years. Alana was a Chamber Ambassador, part of the Leadership of Hancock County association, and the Women Helping Women Foundation. She also loved playing softball in college and with the USA Goodwill Team. Alana’s favorite thing to do was to hang out with her niece Kaedynn.

She is survived by her parents, Justin and Kris (Brown) Lashaway; brother, Kreig Lashaway; grandmother, Nellie Brown; favorite niece and best friend, Kaedynn Lashaway; and fiancé, Kyle Johnson and his daughter Ava Johnson. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Roger Brown and Harold Lashaway; and grandmother, Edna Lashaway.
