Anderson, Ind. — Anderson University is proud to introduce a Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program beginning fall of 2024. The program is in conjunction with Ball State University’s ROTC program.
“We are excited to introduce the ROTC program at Anderson University,” said Provost Courtney K. Taylor. “This initiative reflects our dedication to developing Christ-centered servant leaders who embody our values of excellence, responsibility, and integrity. We anticipate that this program will enhance the University’s culture of service.”
The program will allow students to train in a college Army officer commissioning program while earning their bachelor’s degree. AU cadets will attain a military science education while majoring in any of Anderson University’s undergraduate majors as they prepare to serve in the US Army.
ROTC cadets will benefit from unparalleled leadership development opportunities, as well as scholarships and financial aid to support their education. Cadets will graduate from the program at the rank of Second Lieutenant, with a guaranteed career as an Army Officer.
