School of Theology & Christian Ministry
Bachelor of Arts – Master of Divinity
The Bachelor of Arts to Master of Divinity program allows students to earn a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in five years of study. The degree is designed for students who have been called to work in the church or mission field. It is a specific academic path from undergraduate to graduate in our seminary where you can earn two degrees, in just five years. Majors for this program include Bible & Religion, Christian Ministries, and Youth Ministries.
What classes will I take?
Anderson University’s BA/MDiv program is unique in that students will complete both an undergraduate degree and an MDiv in five years. Separately, the two degrees can take seven years or longer to complete. Courses will include graduate and undergraduate classes including the following:
- Biblical languages
- Church History
- Pastoral Leadership
During the final year of the program, students focus only on graduate coursework.
What kind of jobs can I anticipate after graduation?
- Campus Minister
- Non-profit Leadership
Outside of the classroom, students in the BA/MDiv program are required to complete two internships. One will be the Clinical Pastoral Education component, where students will spend time working in chaplaincy. The second will be an internship with a church or mission.
