Anderson, Ind. — A pair of Anderson University alumni were recently named to the Indianapolis Business Journal Forty Under 40 list, recognizing the region’s most accomplished young leaders who are making a significant impact in business and the community.

Pamela Anderson BS ’11, MBA ’15, and Chance Benbow ’10 were both honored. Anderson serves as the regional sales leader at PNC Bank, while Benbow is the CEO of JDA Worldwide. He is also on the executive committee of the AU Board of Trustees.

“We are over the moon excited that not one, but two Ravens have been recognized in the IBJ ‘forty under 40’ class of 2025,” said Trent Palmer, director of alumni relations. “There are half a million 20-40 year olds in the Indy area so the fact that 1/20th of this year’s class are AU grads is astounding.”

The IBJ’s Forty Under 40 class is selected through a highly competitive process that evaluates nominees based on professional achievements, leadership, and community involvement. The 2025 honorees will be celebrated at a special awards event and were featured in the IBJ’s April 14 issue.

During Anderson’s six years at PNC, she has expanded her team from seven business bankers to 11 and seen local lending and deposit management increase nearly 200%. She also helps direct the lender’s community investments and philanthropy.

Benbow was hired as executive vice president for JDA Worldwide in 2017 and named CEO in March 2023. JDA doubled its revenue and gross income during his first year as CEO and saw both rise again in 2024.

“Chance is not only an exemplary leader at JDA Worldwide, but also plays an integral part in the life of Anderson University today as he serves on our Board of Trustees,” said Palmer. “Similarly, Pamela’s leadership at PNC is remarkable and she has stayed connected to the life of the alma mater, serving as an adjunct professor in our renowned Falls School of Business a couple of years ago. Pamela and Chance are two outstanding alumni of Anderson University and we are proud to call them Ravens.”
