About Women’s Philanthropy Council
Women making a meaningful impact by serving the Anderson University campus and community.
In October 2022, the Anderson University Women’s Philanthropy Council was officially launched at their inaugural annual dinner and meeting during Homecoming week. The group was started with 61 founding members…alumni, current and retired faculty and staff members, AU parents, community members from Anderson and Madison County, and more…all of whom have a heart for Anderson University and want to make a difference in the lives of AU students.
Spring 2023, lighting in the Valley was added and updated. The difference is amazing and students started hanging out in The Valley at night, too…which had not been the case. The brighter lighting was something that students had been requesting.
The campus lights have helped bring me peace of mind when I am walking to the library or MP after a late night practice.

Council members provide snacks (study fuel) at various places throughout campus during finals weeks.
