Teresa King

Teresa Gail Fraley King ’73, wife of James H. “Jim” King II, passed away on January 19, 2021. She was born on Jan. 9, 1951. She was the daughter of the late William Curtis Fraley and Allene Brown Fraley.

She was a graduate of Anderson University, in Anderson, Indiana. After graduation, she moved to Denver, Colorado, where she lived for several years and was married. She then moved to Carmel, California. She enjoyed coming back to Kentucky for visits with family and friends.

Teresa was an animal lover. She always had a cat or dog, or both, from the time she was a child. She was compassionate and kind-spirited.

She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Lissa) King, and son James H. (Jamie) King III. She is also survived by her sisters, Brenda (Donnie) Rogers, Alice (Patrick) O’Kelley, Connie (Lee) Campbell; brothers, Jeffrey (Patricia) Fraley and Michael (Theresa) Fraley; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friend, Barbara Huff.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Saundra (Sandi) Fraley. She was a member of the First Church of God of Winchester. In recent years, she attended Shoreline Community Church in California.
