Hannah Wilhite

Adjunct Professor of Dance

Hannah Jordan Wilhite started dancing at a young age at Anderson Young Ballet Theater. Upon graduation she attended Point Park University, in Pittsburgh, PA where she received a dual concentration BA in Modern and Jazz Dance. Hannah has taught company classes, and performed as a company dancer with Sarasota Contemporary Dance, Kanopy Dance, Ballet Theatre of Indiana, and Phoenix Rising Dance Company. She has also worked as a project based dancer with Elizabeth Weil Bergmann, Ballet Initiative, and several other companies.

Hannah highly values collaboration and inclusiveness in dance, and is a co-founder of Crossroads Dance Indy, where she also worked as a choreographer, instructor and administrator. In addition to teaching company classes, Hannah has also taught in numerous studios in a variety of genres. Her teaching experience also includes master classes in Contemporary Partnering and Contact Improvisation at American College Dance Festival and Ball State University. Hannah hopes to continue creating fun and welcoming dance environments where all dancers can feel inspired to explore their art.
