Earlene Masi

Associate Professor of Exercise Science

Dr. Earlene Masi is an associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology, serving as the program director for the exercise science program and the chair for the Department of Kinesiology. Masi earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from St. Joseph’s College of Maine and her Master of Science in clinical exercise physiology with an emphasis in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation from Ball State University. Masi received her Doctorate of Health Science (DHSc) degree from the University of Indianapolis in 2024.

Masi brings extensive clinical experience within exercise science to Anderson University. With her position, she hopes to help students find their ‘niche’ within exercise science and to ensure students are able to gain the knowledge and skill-set necessary to pursue a career in the area of exercise science or related field.

Courses Dr. Masi regularly teaches at Anderson University include introduction to exercise science, exercise physiology, exercise testing and prescription, and EKG/cardiovascular disease.
