Dr. Fred A. Coon is highly experienced in Mathematics Education and teaches Mathematics and Mathematics Education courses at Anderson University. He has a passion to prepare future educators to be experts and leaders in their field.

His research is focused on probability literacy. He is particularly interested in how knowledge and disposition work together to develop probability understanding. Additionally, he is researching problem posing at the university level.

Dr. Coon enjoys Biblical research and studying scripture. In his free time, he is usually hiking and going on outdoor adventures with his family.
