Christoph Thompson is a recording engineer and educator with over 20 years of industry experience. He has recorded and produced classical and commercial music from Canadian Brass to Def Jam. As the director of the Music Media Production program, he is a passionate educator and as the vice chair of the Education Committee of the Audio Engineering Society, he is an advocate for college and high school level music technology educators.

Dr. Thompson is an active presenter and clinician. He has presented on audio and education topics in Europe and the United States. Christoph Thompson is also the division head and creator of the Music Production division of the national Music for All summer symposium where he has the opportunity to work with high school students and band directors from across the United States.
