What are the responsibilities of SGA and how can we serve you?

  1. Advocating for student needs: SGA represents the student body and advocates for their needs and interests to the university administration, faculty, and staff.
  2. Managing student organizations: SGA allocates funding to student organizations, as well as providing support and resources to help them succeed.
  3. Participating in university committees: SGA may help represent and appoint students to various university committees.
  4. Addressing student concerns: SGAs serve as a bridge between students and the administration, providing a forum for students to voice their concerns and complaints.
  5. Facilitating communication: SGAs help facilitate communication between different student organizations, as well as between students and university departments.
  6. Providing leadership opportunities: SGAs provide opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and gain experience in organizing and managing events and initiatives.
