Dr. Robert W. McCurdy ’59 passed from this earth on June 12, 2020. He received a bachelor’s degree from Anderson College (University) and a doctorate of medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1962. Robert began his practice in Anderson and assumed the role of Anderson College school physician.

Throughout his life, he provided medical care through mission opportunities in over 40 countries, and faithfully served in many leadership roles within the Church of God. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Naomi (Golden) McCurdy; children, Brachen (Teri) McCurdy, Stephanie (Michael) Moran, and Ben (Sandy) McCurdy; his twin brother, Dwight “Bud” (Betty) McCurdy; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
