Laurel Goetzinger

Laurel Goetzinger joined the AU music faculty in 1999 as Director of The Boze Lyric Theatre and a member of the Voice faculty. Professional directing credits include the Indiana Repertory Theatre, Hope Summer Repertory Theatre, and the Battle Creek Symphony and Lafayette Symphony. An Equity actor for over forty years, she has worked professionally as a singer and actor in New York and various theatres in the mid-west in opera, musical theatre and theatre. In Indiana, Mrs. Goetzinger has performed with the Indianapolis Opera, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre and at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. In New York, she sang with The Broque Opera, Tri-Cities Opera and American Opera Theatre. As a recitalist, she has performed in Chicago, St. Louis, San Diego and London as well as at universities in the Midwest.

Mrs. Goetzinger received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Illinois State University with a major in Music and minor in Theatre, and her Master of Music from the University of Illinois in Vocal Performance.  In addition to Anderson University, she has taught at DePauw University, Miami University (Ohio), Butler University, and S.U.N.Y. Fredonia.

Laurel Goetzinger has been at Anderson University since 1999.
