Cost: $2,085 plus airfare (estimated at $500) =~$2,585
Cost includes round-trip airfare from Indianapolis, some meals (all breakfasts at the hotel, 4 lunches, and 3 dinners), lodging, transportation in-country, orientation, group activities, travel insurance, and program tips. The exact airfare amount will be available upon booking with the airline.
Potential expenses not included in the cost may be baggage fees, transportation to and from the departure city, trip cancellation insurance, some meals (2 lunches, and 4 dinners), and personal expenses.
Experience the capital of the United States of America, Washington DC! Explore some of the historic buildings that have shaped this country; learn about the history of African American life, history, and culture; spend time serving vulnerable youth and families; absorb how the Bible has influenced our American culture, and so much more!
The itinerary and program details are subject to change. Additional expenses may include a passport, visa, immunizations/vaccinations, departure tax, baggage fees, transportation to and from the departure city, trip cancellation insurance, some meals, and personal expenses.
Sample Itinerary
- March 9: Team departs for Washington D.C.
- March 10: Church and volunteer with Little Lights Ministry
- March 11: Capitol Tour, Supreme Court, Justice Walk on National Mall, and Holocaust Museum
- March 12: African American History and Culture Museum, BLM Plaza, White House Tour, Dinner on Lincoln Steps
- March 13: Arlington Cemetery, Jefferson Memorial, Tidal Basin, MLK Jr. Monument
- March 14: Bible Museum, Free Time
- March 15: Underground Railroad Tour, Center for Public Justice Meeting, Dinner in Old Town Alexandria
- March 16: Fly Back to Indiana

Cancellation Policy
● 61 days or more prior to start date of trip – Deposit of $300 per person is non-refundable as well as any flights booked for travelers (a credit per traveler may be issued through airline)
● 30-60 days prior to start date of trip – Deposit of $300 per person is non-refundable as well as loss of any non-refundable excursions, any flights booked for travelers (a credit per traveler may be issued through airline), and 25% of per person total cost.
● 15-30 days prior to start date of trip – Deposit of $300 per person is non-refundable as well as loss of any non-refundable excursions, any flights booked for travelers (a credit per traveler may be issued through airline), and 50% of per person total cost.
● 0-15 days prior to start date of trip – No refund will be given.
