Travel with Tri-S: Study, Serve, Share

Description: 

Join Tri-S on this nursing experience in Uganda, the Pearl of Africa! Partnering with Kibo Group, you will build relationships with Ugandans, travel to small villages to educate and do pop up clinics, and eat some amazing food. Exploring Jinja, safariing through Murchison Falls National Park, and navigating the Nile River are just a few of the awe-inspiring adventures of which you will be a part. This trip is for senior nursing majors only.

March 30 – April 10, 2025 (subject to change)

Cost:

$2,100 + airfare

Included:

Roundtrip airfare from Chicago
Transportation to and from Chicago
Lodging
All meals in-country
Airport transfers and ground transportation in-country
Entrance fees for planned group activities
Travel insurance
Visa

Not Included:

Passport fees
Airline fees for additional baggage and/or oversized or overweight baggage
Any food not covered by Tri-S
Trip cancellation insurance
Immunizations and other health/medical needs
Souvenirs and other personal expenses
Meals and transportation costs related to missed or cancelled flights

Due Dates

Your student account will be charged the cost of the trip with your spring tuition. You will make payments as you normally would for spring tuition. If you have questions about this process, please contact Student Accounts at studentaccounts@anderson.edu. 

Cancellation Policy

• 61 days or more prior to start of trip
• $300 per person is non-refundable as well as any flights booked for travelers (a credit per traveler may be issued through airline)
• 31-60 days or more prior to start of trip
  $300 per person is non-refundable as well as loss of any non-refundable excursions, any flights booked for travelers (a credit per traveler may be issued through airline), and 25% of per person total cost.
• 16-30 days or more prior to start of trip
  $300 per person is non-refundable as well as loss of any non-refundable excursions, any flights booked for travelers (a credit per traveler may be issued through airline), and 50% of per person total cost.
• 0-15 days or more prior to start of trip
  No refund will be given.
