Travel with Tri-S: Study, Serve, Share

 

Description: 

Visit the beauty of Ireland, seeing iconic villages and sights throughout the country. While learning about Ireland’s culture, engage in hands-on service by partnering with ministries to the homeless population and learn more about Ireland’s healthcare. This trip is for senior nursing majors only.

  • Roundtrip airfare from Chicago

  • Entrance fees for planned group activities
  • Travel insurance

Not Included:

  • Passport fees
  • Entry visa
  • Airline fees for additional baggage and/or oversized or overweight baggage
  • Travel to and from the departure city
  • Any food not covered by Tri-S
  • Trip cancellation insurance
  • Immunizations and other health/medical needs
  • Souvenirs and other personal expenses
  • Meals and transportation costs related to missed or cancelled flights

Itinerary:

April 5: Depart U.S.
April 6: Arrive in Dublin, Welcome Dinner
April 7: Ministry Orientation & Homeless Ministry
April 8: Health Presentations with Tiglin
April 9: Health Presentations with Tiglin & Homeless Ministry
April 10: Health Presentations with Tiglin
April 11: Transfer to Galway
April 12: Killary Sheep Farm
April 13: Transfer to Cliffs of Moher
April 14: Visit Adare Village and Birr Castle
April 15: Depart from Dublin
April 16: Arrive in U.S.

Due Dates:

Your student account will be charged the cost of the trip with your spring tuition. You will make payments as you normally would for spring tuition. If you have questions about this process, please contact Student Accounts at studentaccounts@anderson.edu. 

Cancellation Policy:

  • 61 days or more prior to start of trip
  • $300 per person is non-refundable as well as any flights booked for travelers (a credit per traveler may be issued through airline)
  • 31-60 days or more prior to start of trip
  • $300 per person is non-refundable as well as loss of any non-refundable excursions, any flights booked for travelers (a credit per traveler may be issued through airline), and 25% of per person total cost.
  • 16-30 days or more prior to start of trip
  • $300 per person is non-refundable as well as loss of any non-refundable excursions, any flights booked for travelers (a credit per traveler may be issued through airline), and 50% of per person total cost.
  • 0-15 days or more prior to start of trip
  • No refund will be given.
