Have you always wanted to see the Northern Lights? Now may be your chance! Experience the unique culture and history of Iceland as you visit stunning waterfalls, walk on a glacier, explore Reykjavik (the country’s capital), swim in the Blue Lagoon, and much more in this Land of Fire and Ice!
Itinerary

- March 9: Team departs U.S.
- March 10: Team arrives in Iceland; National Museum
- March 11: Höfði House, Hallgrímskirkja Church, University District, Old Town Centre
- March 12: Þingvellir National Park, Geysir, Gullfoss Waterfall, Evening Northern Lights
- March 13: Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Skógafoss Waterfall, Sólheimajökull Glacier, Reynisfjara Beach
- March 14: Lava Centre; Explore countryside of south coast
- March 15: Reykjanes Geopark; Blue Lagoon
- March 16: Team returns to the U.S.
Cost: $3,495 plus airfare (estimated at $950) =~$4,445
Cost includes round-trip airfare from Chicago, most meals, lodging, transportation in-country, orientation, group activities, travel insurance, and program tips. The exact airfare amount will be available upon booking with the airline.
Potential expenses not included in the cost may be a passport, visa, immunizations and vaccinations, departure tax, baggage fees, transportation to and from the departure city, trip cancellation insurance, some meals, and personal expenses.

- January 15: Airfare due (or remaining balance)
Cancellation Policy
- 61 days or more prior to the start date of trip — Deposit of $300 per person is non-refundable as well as any flights booked for travelers (a credit per traveler may be issued through the airline).
- 30-60 days prior to the start date of trip — Deposit of $300 per person is non-refundable as well as loss of any non-refundable excursions, any flights booked for travelers (a credit per traveler may be issued through the airline), and 25% of per person total cost.
- 15-30 days prior to the start date of trip — Deposit of $300 per person is non-refundable as well as loss of any non-refundable excursions, any flights booked for travelers (a credit per traveler may be issued through the airline), and 50% of per person total cost.
- 0-15 days prior to the start date of the trip — No refund will be given.
