Dr. Leanne Ketcham

Dr. Leanne Ketcham serves as an Assistant Professor of Preaching and Practical Theology at the Anderson University School of Theology and Christian Ministries.
Dr. Ketcham has been an ordained pastor with The Wesleyan Church since 2014. She is passionate about Christian witness in contemporary culture through preaching, the pastoral vocation, and the ministry of the local church. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries and Biblical Literature from Indiana Wesleyan University, she moved to Colorado where she served as associate pastor for a church plant. She went on to pursue a Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary where she also served as on the pastoral staff of a church revitalization doing innovative ministry. During the course of PhD studies at The University of Toronto, Emmanuel College, Dr. Ketcham served as a youth pastor, launched a new worshipping community, and supported research on intercultural preaching in The United Church of Canada. Her research focused on the effects of consumerism on Christian preaching.
She joined the School of Theology and Christian Ministry faculty in 2022 and teaches courses in preaching, youth ministry, practical theology, and Biblical Studies.
