A New Era In The Raven Gameday Experience

Athletics plays a pivotal role on the campus of Anderson University. Macholtz Stadium was built in 1977 and serves as the home facility for AU’s football, lacrosse and track and field teams. As Macholtz Stadium prepares for its 50th year in 2027, the home and visitor bleachers are outdated and in need of replacement. In addition, the press box on the west side of the stadium will be upgraded with more space
for media and gameday staff. Our hope is that these renovations provide a better gameday experience for our student-athletes, coaches, staff, and fans.

This will provide a championship level facility that student-athletes across all athletic teams will benefit from, along with a quality gameday atmosphere for each of our sports who compete there. We talk consistently in our football program about 'Adding to the Legacy' of our historic football program, and this project will provide the opportunity for the next several generations of Ravens to continue to do that in Macholtz Stadium.”
