What is an Electronic Diploma?

  • A secure and verifiable PDF version of your diploma.

Benefits of an Electronic Diploma

  • May be useful for international students who often need a diploma rather than a transcript when submitting applications overseas. May help bypass the Apostille process.
  • Could speed up the verification process for jobs that require a diploma.
  • Can be sent to as many recipients as necessary without invalidating it.

Instructions for accessing your Electronic Diploma:

  • An email with instructions will be sent to graduates when their eDiploma is available. This will typically happen around the same timeframe as when diplomas are being mailed.
  • Download the document to your desktop by either opening and saving it or dragging it directly to your desktop. The file can be renamed but it cannot be edited or printed.
  • Validate it here or using the link in the left, black sidebar of the diploma.
  • Use the “Select PDF to be validated” button to search your desktop or network for the saved PDF document you wish to validate.
  • Select the document and click on the validate button.
  • The Electronic Diploma will remain valid for one year as long as the contents of the file have not been tampered with.

Please note: Students who have financial holds will not receive an electronic diploma until the hold is released.
