Travel with Tri-S: Serve, Study, Share

Transportation: ORD or IND Airport
Cost: $1,700 + airfare (estimated at $900)

Description:

Trip participants will walk alongside pastors and church members, joining and encouraging ongoing ministry initiatives, and building relationships with local brothers and sisters. Activities may include serving with children’s ministry, participating in worship, sharing scripture or testimony, providing logistical support for an event, serving the homeless, and hands-on service projects.

The focus will be building relationships between the team and the church in Costa Rica, providing encouragement through connection and a catalyst for spiritual growth.

Tentative Itinerary:

March 5: Arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica
March 6: Hands-on serve
March 7: Connect with local believers
March 8: Ministry serve
March 9: Ministry serve
March 10: Cultural outing with locals (i.e. waterfall, nature tour, hot springs, beach)
March 11: Wrap up outing, closing conversations
March 12: Depart for U.S.

Payment Schedule – FAQs

Before submitting your Tri-S application, please review the payment schedule for credit and non-credit travel. All students who submit the Tri-S application are required to pay a $400 non-refundable deposit, regardless of credit or non-credit status.
