How do I get a student job on-campus?

 3 MIN. READ

Did you know that Anderson University offers part-time, on-campus jobs to enrolled students? While you could work off-campus, working on-campus has many benefits like flexibility, reduced transportation costs and hassle, and experience that often relate to your academic or professional interests. And good news–we need student workers in almost every department and area of campus!

So what are a few things you can do before arriving on campus?

  1. Ensure you’re registered for at least 6 hours of classes.
  2. Create a resume.
  3. Know if you qualify for Federal Work Study* (FWS) as part of your financial aid.  First preference will be given to those who are FWS eligible. Talk to your financial aid counselor if you’re not sure!
  4. Starting mid-August, begin reviewing student jobs posted on Paycom: studentemployment.anderson.edu.
  5. Bring identification to complete the I-9 form  (see list on link, page 3).
  6. Know your banking information (Routing # and Account #).
