A Million Steps for Martin
One of the highlights of our annual celebration of the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is our march across the Historic Eighth Street bridge here in Anderson. In the past, our local community has banded together for this march as a symbolic gesture to express our commitment to peace and justice. This year, you don’t have to be in Anderson to participate in the Peace & Justice March! We invite you to join us from wherever you are in the world by committing to take a Million Steps for Martin on an MLK Blvd, Street, Road, or Drive (or any other street) of your choice.
Sign up and let us know you’re committed! The first 250 who sign up will receive a free Million Steps bracelet.

Just take the first step.”
