Mary Beth Coolidge

Instructor of Voice; Alexander Technique

Mary Beth Coolidge(ATIm) serves as the Voice and Movement instructor for the Musical
Theatre and Theatre programs at Anderson University. She is the Voice and Movement Coach
for the Boze Lyric Theatre mainstage productions as well as the Senior Showcase. Mary Beth
received her Masters of Music in Voice Performance from the University of North Carolina at
Greensboro, and her Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory
of Music. She completed her 1200-hour Alexander Technique certification in 2016 (Alexander
Technique International). The creator of Community Constructive Rest, Mary Beth is an
advocate for self-care and approaches her students from a whole person perspective. She has
presented workshops on Community Constructive Rest at the Clinton Showboat Theatre,
Anderson University, Christian Youth Theatre, and The Ohio State University. Professional
highlights include Greensboro Opera, Greensboro Light Opera, the Clinton Area Showboat
Theatre. She also serves a voice instructor for Christian Youth Theatre of Indianapolis.
