Holly R. Sims

Assistant Professor of Visual Communication Design

Holly Sims serves as Assistant Professor of Visual Communication and Design in the School of Humanities and Behavioral Science. She teaches a variety of courses including art history, graphic design and drawing and painting for the liberal arts. 

 

After earning her B.A. in Psychology and Fine Art from Anderson University, Sims moved to New York City where she earned her M.F.A. in Painting and Drawing from the New York Studio School. In addition to teaching, she works as a studio artist and muralist. Sims has been part of the William Louis-Dreyfus Museum in New York, and exhibits her work both locally and nationally.  

 

She joined the AU faculty in 2021.
