Assistant Professor of Exercise Science
Andrew Jones is an assistant professor in kinesiology. Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN and master’s degree of exercise science from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI. Andrew will receive his Ph.D. in human bioenergetics from Ball State University in 2021.
Andrew leads the sport performance emphasis of the exercise science program and conducts human physiological research out of AU’s human performance lab. Andrew has a background in human physiological research and performance training. While at Ball State, he assisted in numerous human physiological research projects involving aging, inflammation, and one of the largest exercise science research initiatives, Molecular Transducers and Physical Activity Consortiums (MoTrPAC).
