Life Groups

Life groups provide opportunities for spiritual growth for upperclassmen. These groups are led by upperclassmen students, faculty, staff, or local church staff members to encourage, teach, and challenge students while providing a supportive community.  A variety of topics are covered and every small group will look a bit different, but will all focus on being a supportive community that is founded on prayer and the love of Jesus Christ.

To learn more about any of the small groups, contact Becca Palmer.

Co-Ed Groups

Soup and Stories

The purpose of this small group is to create a safe environment for authentic and vulnerable community. Whether you are single, in a relationship, recently engaged, or married, this study based upon Author Tim Keller’s book “The Meaning of Marriage.” The study will help provide a biblical overview and understanding of what God intended for marriage, and for singleness. Although reading the book would be helpful, it is not required, as we will highlight each chapter and initiate authentic, real life discussions.

Through God’s Eyes

Leaders: Emily Glassman and Erin Eberly
Time: Monday, 8:30 p.m.

For those of us who know and believe we were created in God’s image, it can be difficult to understand what that truly means– especially in a society and world that is constantly redefining us and trying to tell us who we are. The purpose of this group is to build an atmosphere where we can grow deeper and explore who God says we are as individuals, as a whole, and who we are to him in an effort to see ourselves through the eyes of our creator. If you are looking for an uplifting group learning how to get comfortable with the uncomfortable as we seek a deeper relationship with Jesus, we invite you to join us this year.

Personal Growth in Faith

God’s Plan

Life has enough stuff and not enough time to reflect on the answers. So bring your stuff and we will use Scripture to figure out God’s plan in your life together as men.

Your AU Story Begins Now

My greatest fear and challenge as a transfer student was being able to make great friends and integrate smoothly into Anderson University. It is safe to say I have done that. I have a wide circle of friends that stand by me no matter what and God provided me with an endless amount of opportunities to plug in. I feel called to be a communicator and use my communication skills to speak God’s truth and life into people’s lives. I am leading a life group this year, doing Bible studies with friends, and engaging in campus ministries that allow me to thrive in the spiritual gifts God has bestowed onto me.
