DAON PARTNERSHIP

Health Screening Mobile App

Anderson University announced a partnership with Daon, a global leader in biometrics, in June 2020. The Anderson University campus community will be using VeriFLY, a health screening solution by Daon, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 cases on campus. The VeriFLY app allows each student, faculty, and staff to obtain a valid pass to access Anderson University campus facilities. This app is one of many measures we will be taking as a campus community to address public health and safety against the coronavirus.

FAQ

Why is my QR Code not working?

Each user should have received an email with a sponsored QR code to activate their Anderson University VeriFLY pass. If your code is not working, it may be expired. Please submit an ITS service request to receive another sponsored VeriFLY invitation.

Who has access to my VeriFLY pass information?

You are in full control of who is able to see your information. VeriFLY will ask for consent when your information is required to perform a validation of a health credential. Additionally, VeriFLY will only provide a consented failed status to limited, authorized university staff who need to know to help facilitate safe campus operations.

How long am I required to use VeriFLY at school?

The Anderson University community will utilize VeriFLY for the in-person and on-campus experience while in conjunction with the phased approach of the return to campus plan. Please follow along with the phased approach online.

What happens if I report COVID-19 symptoms on my VeriFLY campus pass?

VeriFLY will not issue credentials for users whose questionnaire responses do not satisfy the university’s minimum acceptable threshold. In the event your questionnaire responses do not result in a valid pass, please follow university medical guidance for COVID-19 and await contact from university staff.

Which campus facilities require my Anderson University VeriFLY pass to access?

All campus facilities require VeriFLY pass to access. Each building has a varied number of stations.
