Cost: $3,425 plus airfare (estimated at $1,200) = ~$4,625
Cost includes round trip airfare from Chicago, most meals, lodging, transportation in country, orientation, group activities, travel insurance, and program tips. The exact airfare amount will be available on or before September 12.
Take this Tri-S adventure to Peru’s capital city of Lima as well as Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the world! Eat unique food, explore beautiful cities, and become acquainted with the people in this ethnically diverse and interesting country. Peru is the third largest country in South America with much to experience and enjoy. Don’t miss out!
The itinerary and program details are subject to change. Additional expenses may include a passport, visa, immunizations/vaccinations, departure tax, baggage fees, transportation to and from the departure city, trip cancellation insurance, some meals, and personal expenses.

- December 28: Team departs U.S. and arrived in Lima, Peru
- December 29: Cultural Orientation, Lima Walking Tour, Ceviche Dinner
- December 30: Canto Gallo Indigenous Neighborhood
- December 31: Su Refugio Ministries, Picnic on the Beach
- January 1: Fly to Cusco, San Pedro Market
- January 2: Visit Clinic Quechuan Community
- January 3: Salt Mines and Moray via ATVs, Peruvian Dinner
- January 4: Machu Picchu Day
- January 5: Depart Cusco for Lima
- January 6: Team departs for the U.S.
Important Dates
- July 1: Application & $300 non-refundable deposit & signed, color copy of your passport due
- August 15: $1,600 due
- September 12: First group meeting
- September 15: $1,525 due
- October 15: Airfare due (or remaining balance due)
