Anderson, Ind. — The Anderson University School of Theology and Christian Ministry is hosting a lunch and learn with professor-in-residence, Dr. Jeffrey W. Frymire May 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“Dr. Frymire is a nationally known and respected expert related to narrative preaching,” said Dr. Nathan Willowby, dean of the School of Theology and Christian Ministry. “We have been blessed to have him spend his spring sabbatical with Asbury Theological Seminary in residence here at his alma mater where he has been engaged with our SOTCM community and filled several pulpits of churches around Anderson.”

The most challenging parts of sermons are the introductions and conclusions. Frymire will share his research into the “Ins and Outs of Preaching” followed by a lunch discussion. Lunch is free and attendees will also receive a free copy of Frymire’s book, “Preaching From Inside The Story.”

“The SOTCM is pleased to sponsor this opportunity for local pastors to hear from Jeff about his recent scholarship, share in fellowship with other preachers, and be encouraged towards more impactful and compelling preaching in this lunch and learn,” said Willowby.

Those wishing to attend should RSVP to Jaymie Dieterle by May 1.
