Anderson, Ind. — Anderson University will celebrate two of its retirees at the upcoming Omega Lectures April 25 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in York Performance Hall. Dr. Jerry Fox, professor of global business, and Dr. Jeff Wright, dean of the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, will present.

The Omega Lectures are an opportunity for retiring faculty with over a decade of service to Anderson University to reflect on their time at AU.

“These are not classroom lectures, but rather the faculty share about a variety of aspects of their AU experiences: how God led them here, who impacted them, what they remember most about the classroom, what their hopes are for AU after they have retired,” said Dr. Courtney Taylor, provost. “These reflections are always interesting, and sometimes surprising with profound insights. Ultimately, the Omega Lectures serve as a vehicle for the cultivation and transmission of wisdom within our academic community.”

Along with his work at AU, Fox is a certified financial planner and active in management consulting. He is the author of numerous articles in professional journals, magazines, and newspapers. He has also published devotional guides for applying biblical principles to personal financial planning. He has served at Anderson University since 1985.

Since Wright came to Anderson University in 1995, the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance has expanded significantly and now includes a vibrant summer studies program for music educators, a master’s degree in music education, three undergraduate degree programs in dance, and a variety of summer experiences for high school music students.

This event is open to the public and a recording of the event will be made available for those unable to attend.
