Dulaney Earns CBFA Sharon Johnson Award

Anderson, Ind. — Anderson University’s Emmett Dulaney recently received the Sharon Johnson Award from the Christian Business Faculty Association. Dulaney serves as a professor of marketing and the director of doctoral studies in the Falls School of Business, a program that prepares doctoral students at other Christian and liberal arts colleges.
The Sharon Johnson Award recognizes God-honoring, intellectual contributions by individuals who incorporate learning, business, and faith into a dynamic process to promote Christian faith integration in business as championed by Sharon Johnson.
“I was honored to receive the 2022 Sharon Johnson Award from the Christian Business Faculty Association,” said Dulaney. “I was blessed to be a student of Dr. Johnson’s many years ago and impacted by his example.”
In his nomination Dulaney was noted for his significant and meaningful contributions to thought and practice. He has opened new lines of research and writing. He encourages others to engage in scholarly activity and reflects a life well lived in faith integration. He has published 12 articles in the Christian Business Academy Review.
“Emmett is another shining example of faculty at Anderson University educating for a life of faith and service,” said Dr. Lonnie Leeper, dean of the Falls School of Business. “He does this through his support of students and faculty across the country pursuing scholarly activity in the integration of faith and business.”
The award was presented by Trish Berg, incoming board chair of CBFA, and an AU DBA alumna.
