Anderson University is proud to announce the launch of the online bachelor of arts in communication program. The program, housed in the Department of Communication and Design Arts, is offered fully online beginning in fall 2023.

“Communication has never been more important in an organization,” said Dr. Stefanie Leiter, associate professor of public relations and director of summer school. “With more organizations shifting to hybrid and virtual workplaces, earning a bachelor of arts in communication will set an applicant apart.”

Students will receive a solid foundation of communication knowledge, including writing, speaking, social media, global communication, interpersonal communication, and more. They will receive hands-on, applicable experience through projects, research, and optional internships.

Qualitative data in the 2021-22 Recruiting Trends survey indicates that employers want students who have solid communication skills for online work, which is becoming increasingly more common.
