Anderson, Ind. — A new iconic picture spot, the Raven Wings, has been installed at Anderson University (AU). It’s release was during Homecoming Weekend 2021, where it quickly became popular. Not only are prospective students enjoying the new feature, but current students and alumni are taking part as well.

The Raven Wings are placed next to the Admissions Office in Decker where touring and prospective students are able to have their picture taken. The wings have been gaining attention on social media, with the tag @andersonuniversity and #soarravensoar. The wings are designed to be a landmark for AU and a fun way to announce college acceptance on social media.

“We are excited for the installation of the new Raven Wings selfie spot.” said Heather Kim, vice president for enrollment, marketing, and communication, “It’s a perfect addition for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors to capture their school spirit.  We invite everyone to come snap a pic and soar Ravens soar!”

The design of the Raven Wings includes key AU symbols like Helios, the AU emblem, the eternal flame, our sport logos and more. Anderson University invites everyone to come show their Raven pride and take a picture at the Raven Wings soon.
