AU alums join together for virtual concert

Homecoming at Anderson University will be a little different this year in order to adhere to CDC guidelines. All typical in-person events have now been adapted to a virtual format. Alumni from across the years including Sandi Patty, Bill Gaither, the Sidewalk Prophets, and many others have gathered together to create a special Alumni Showcase Concert. Raven fans can view the premiere on Saturday, October 17 at 7 p.m. on the AU Twitter and Facebook page.

The official lineup also includes Alanna Story, Curt Anderson, Leah Ashton, Myron El, Sarah Scharbrough McLaughlin, Lonnie Fowler, Krissy Nordhoff, Jason White, and a virtual choir of over 20 alumni.

“AU has such a rich and vibrant history of music makers and to have a moment, in these strange times, for many of these accomplished singers, songwriters and worship leaders to come together virtually for this unique Homecoming program, is going to be a real treat,” said Director of Alumni Relations, Trent Palmer.

Anderson University is on a mission to educate students for lives of faith and service, offering more than 60 undergraduate majors, 30 three-year degrees, 20 NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports, alongside adult and graduate programs.
