Breaking Down Barriers, Simplifying Success

No More Guesswork, Just Graduation:

Students can say goodbye to the nagging question, “Will I get in?” The Direct Admission Initiative requires only successful completion of graduation requirements, maintaining good academic and disciplinary standing, and cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. No lengthy applications, no complex processes – just a clear path to a student’s academic future.

We Value Local Talent and Affordability:

At Anderson University, we recognize and highly value the talent within Madison County. As a gesture of our commitment, we are proud to offer a special scholarship of $10,000 ($40,000 over four years) exclusively for all students directly admitted to AU from Madison County.

Scholarship Boosts:

Students can boost their scholarships by doing the following:

  • Visit AU’s campus for $1,000 scholarship ($4,000 over four years).
  • For students with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher, additional merit scholarship money is available. Dedication to academic excellence deserves to be rewarded and we are excited to support students in this way

How It Works:

  • Each year throughout high school, families have the opportunity to express interest in the AU Direct Admit Initiative.
  • Once an interested student becomes a senior, partner high schools share a list of graduating seniors and their transcripts with Anderson.
  • Anderson University sends admission and scholarship notification to qualified students.
  • Students receive their AU admission and scholarship, and celebrate that they are a Raven!
  • Students in program receive priority financial aid consultations with our financial aid experts.

Your Future Awaits – Make it Effortless:

We believe in simplifying the journey to higher education. Anderson University’s Direct Admission Initiative is an invitation to a brighter future. Join us on this uncomplicated path and unlock the doors to success.
