Description:

Dublin is one of Europe’s most vibrant and walkable capital cities and an ideal destination for an undergraduate study abroad experience. Compact enough to explore on foot yet rich enough to fill weeks of discovery, Dublin blends deep literary and artistic heritage with a young, energetic culture that makes students feel at home immediately. History is everywhere. Trinity College, Dublin Castle, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral each tells a chapter of Ireland’s fascinating story.

Other stops include a day in Galway, a lively university town on the edge of the Atlantic, known for its colorful streets, thriving arts scene, and traditional music around every corner. No stop to Ireland is complete without a stop at Blarney Castle and Cork dating back to the 15th century.

Students will also travel to the Cliffs of Moher, which rises 700 feet above the Atlantic along five miles of County Clare coastline, offering breathtaking views of the Irish coast, the Aran Islands, and Connemara. The cliffs have also appeared on screen — most memorably as the Cliffs of Insanity in The Princess Bride.

Students can earn 3 credits in COMM 3050 Global Communication to understand the roles of interpersonal, cultural, leadership, and conflict communications. By taking the trip for-credit, students have the option to use financial aid. Offered spring 2027.

Payment Schedule – FAQs

Before submitting your Tri-S application, please review the payment schedule for credit and non-credit travel. All students who submit the Tri-S application are required to pay a $400 non-refundable deposit, regardless of credit or non-credit status.
