Description:

Spend a week of meaningful volunteer work alongside the Missionaries of Charity — the organization founded by Mother Teresa.

Students will serve daily at MC homes near Mother House, assisting with cleaning, meal service, laundry, and providing personal care and companionship to Kolkata’s most vulnerable residents. Morning Mass, prayer, and adoration opportunities are available throughout the week for those who wish to participate.

Beyond service, the trip includes cultural visits to a flower market along the Ganges, cultural temples, the Indian Museum, and other local landmarks, giving students a well-rounded experience of Kolkata’s rich history and vibrant culture. Students will end their service experience with a trip to Agra and New Delhi to visit the Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, and Humayun’s Tomb.

Payment Schedule – FAQs

Before submitting your Tri-S application, please review the payment schedule for credit and non-credit travel. All students who submit the Tri-S application are required to pay a $400 non-refundable deposit, regardless of credit or non-credit status.
